Cucuteni Neolithic Art Museum

The monastery is located on the valley of the stream Agapia and is surrounded everyway by high mountains and secular forests and on the bottom by orchard, flowers gardens that adorn nuns yards and houses creating a unique landscape. Agapia Monastery is adorned with painted saints made by Nicolae Grigorescu between years 1858-1861.

It is the biggest nuns monastery from Romania, founded by nun Olimpiada in year 1785.

In 1983, the sculptor Ion Vlasiu made the stone statue of Ion Creangă. Location: Decebal Boulevard, near the Trade Union House of Culture

Statue of bronze, natural size, made by the sculptor Wladimir Hegel in 1913. It presents Mihail Kogălniceanu at the Congress of Berlin (1878), defending Romania's interests in independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Bronze statue made by the sculptor Oscar Han in 1974. It was unveiled in 1980 when it was celebrated 2050 years after the establishment of the first centralized and independent state led by Burebista and 2000 years of existence of the ancient Petrodava fortress.

Tourist attraction for horse lovers, Equestrian Base "Col. Virgil Bărbuceanu" has that "something" which, for the practitioners and supporters of equestrian sports, means much more than a day spent there, it means peace, relaxation and the appreciation of the special bond between people and animals. Equestrian base "Col. Virgil Bărbuceanu" from Piatra Neamț, established in 1986, is one of the most equipped equestrian bases in the country, being chosen as the host of several stages of the World Show Jumping Cup, as well as of several national competitions. Within this equestrian base, you can practice recreational riding on well-established routes by the base staff, horseback tourism for those who have equestrian knowledge and skills, day trips on the Bâtca Doamnei - Bahrin route, leisure with the carriage both for walking and for special events, horse-drawn sleigh rides (in winter). Also within the base, horses are trained for participation in competitions and riding lessons can also be taken.

The "G.T. Kirileanu" Neamţ County Library is a continuation of some old traditions (over 130 years) of public reading in Neamţ County.

Roman-Catholic Cathedral "Saint Iosif Muncitorul" was built in 1895 and between 1936-1939 has been subjected to several renovations. The church had changed the look starting with year 2012. Historical files certify the existence of Catholics on Moldova region from 13th century. Next centuries, lots of Catholics had migrated from Transilvania to Moldova and so in 1884 was founded The Roman-Catholic Bishopric from Iași.

The "Baal Shem Tov" wooden synagogue from Piatra Neamţ is a testimony of numerous Jewish communities that have existed since the Middle Ages.  The current building was built on the oldest place, based on the letter of July 19, 1766, signed by the voivode Grigore III Ghica.  The old synagogue was by stone, but since the early 18th century it was only allowed to raise wooden synagogues.  In the eastern wall of the synagogue is a "One Holy," a true work of art made of wood carved in 1835 by Sharaga Iţchok ben Moische, disposed in three floors, each of them standing on rounded columns covered with bronze and silver.  The altar, blown with gold, is 250 years old. The synagogue is linked to the name of Baal Shem Tov, the founder of Hasidism. VISITING HOURS: Monday-Friday: 9 am - 2 pm (individuals and groups larger than 10 persons)                           2 pm - 4 pm (only groups larger than 10 persons) Saturday and Sunday: 10 am - 2 pm (only groups over 10 people) For groups you must make an appointment at least one day before.
